IPCC's Fourth Assesment lures eco-fundamentalist out of the woodwork
Its always neat-o when those teeny tiny cars stop in the middle of the three rings, and not one not two but almost a dozen clowns come out of the vehicle...always brings a smile to *most* kiddies' faces (most because actually a lot of kids HATE clowns, right?).
Well after the IPCC released the new AR4 (or Fourth Assessment report) it seems that the media has been having a climate field day-- i mean after 20 years it is interesting to note the QuoteUnquotes are off (no longer "greenhouse gasses" and no longer "climate change" at least in the MSM. not exacly in the EconoFundamentalist papers but more on them later...). I guess for the most part, once your readership is convinced of something, you might as well toe the line... It is amazing to see every paper tout themselves as bearing the burden of bringing us the climate truth for decades now(!) And usually they seem to be the only ones who were "daring" to tell the truth all along. They're still printed on virgin tree pulp, they're still chock-full of car and tire ads, and of course they are the very same ones who would pit the very same 3 climate skeptics (Lindzen Singer & Michaels...) into every debate since the 80's... But they're banking that no one has memories that long, and that they can now come out smelling like roses, all concerned about global climate change... w/e ..Now the bigger irony is with this much press going to climate change, there's even more pulped virgin forest being inked about climate than ever before(!)
Anyway, so this is about the clowns coming out of the tiny car. So first out of the gate let's look at FAUX NEWS (they "report" you decide?) they came out swinging
...and not because they have any agendas at all, no sir, but they do want us to know that the 2500 Scientists on the IPCC all have one climate agenda (to um, govern and take over the world buah ha ha) and of course who do they go to? None other than Richard "$2500" Lindzen! ($2500 is the amount per day he gets paid by gas and oil companies to say that climate change is not happening at all). Lindzen is complaining about other scientists agendas. And FUX News agrees with him of course.... (((Actually on an odd side not I actually like Lindzen more than Patsy Michaels or Stoolpigeon Singer--- Lindzen while pish-poshing anything climate related is actually on the tip of resarch like George Kukula, on glaciation, and is pretty sure once we hit a threshold we will be much cooler (climate wise) than we have been in 10,000 years-- but he says this for Oil & Gas agenda, so only enough of it to discredit the "Warmers" and hence can not be counted on for anything but smoke and mirrors...)))
Fucks News goes on & on about how averyone there is a liar and closes with the hypocrisy of Prince Charles having a lavish lifestyle while trying to go on a green campaign(!) Sure, Chuck should walk, or take a bus, but does he fly around 1/2 as much as 1/8 of the top CEOs? no. And is it a classic strawman argument? That we have to ignore all this climate hoohaw because Charles flys a jet?? Thats Fox for you, guarding the henhouse for Dumocracy and big business...
Now lets move from Rupert Murdoc's domain to an even sleazier news monger, the "New Religion" Leader (don't say Cult) Sung Yung Moon, head of the army of brainwashed moonies and owner of the Washington Times. The times is a hillarious misuse of the written language and to be honest, somethig I woudln't even let my pet bird shit on. They often use the guilded tongues and keyboard mashings of Myron Ebell and other subhumans at the CEI for their OpEd pieces... So perhaps you can get a rift of where this rag is headed... and of course they come out swingin....
in a recent (Brain)Wash Times piece about this silly IPCC and their evil AR4 they go to great legnths to say absolutely nothing about the AR4 itsef and actually its all one big shell game of a lie that they embellish to tell people that we dont need no esteenking IPCC we dont eeed no esteenking Kyoto and really the whole thing is just an Eco-Commie attempt to rule the world. And the pudding of proof as far as they can see it, and in an attempt to be as cute as possible, here's how they paint this one:

Aren't they sooo cute you just wanna squeeze them till their eyes pop? They go on, of course, that the REAL issue is whether these gassess are manmade or not (um the real issue is that the climate is changing and faster than anyone thought, dipshits, but i guess you would have had to read the whole 20 page pre-release to get that right?) to me this is like when you are about to crash into a wall in a car and instead of grabbing the steering wheel, arguing in the back seat about whether its a wall of a shop or a house- who cares??? its time to deal, no?
Anyway i was kinda curious about what the BrainWash Times was saying, i mean if they are (even remotely) correct that would look bad for the process and all... so I went to a place where there is much less of an agenda than the Moonie Times, Real Climate. They talk about what is now being written to go along with the summary.
It's something called the SPM, or Summary for Policy Makers. This is by and far the most controversial part of the IPCC Reports and edited bygovernment agents from around the world.. they want to make sure that this suggesting for policy makers is something that they will be able to read, and something that they will not be able to run with and poke holes into.... This is serious business, especially when its scientists trying to let governments make sound decisions (sometimes against their own will--- at least that was what it was like for 20+ years now...) .
So that is the truth. The agenda driven truth that bozos like Fox and Washingtoon Times will go to any legnth to tell you the story the way they want it to be told. Anyone who has seen outFoxed knows this already and the BrainWash Times??? Please! If Sun Yung Moon (the paedophile creep cult leader) wasn't already a total right wing cretin with major Pols in his pocket, the fact that he is also responsible for his "Church" poaching over 6,000 baby Leoppard Sharks (caught a few months ago! ...didn't stop the presses) should make you look twice into anything these people have to say about the planet. Next time you read something by Myron or any other dipshit at the BrainWash-- think not only about 6,000 baby sharks illegaly caught, but also the fact that the Moonies supply raw fish to over 6,000 sushi bars in America! Yum! Talk about not swallowing tripe!
