green
Show your appreciation to the green business you just couldn’t live without by submitting a nomination for Co-op America's 2006 People’s Choice Award. COA are the folks who make that awesome Green Pages, and who also do the best conference in the world, the green festivals! Between now and October 5 votes will be tallies, then they’ll conduct a run-off vote among the top ten most popular nominations and announce the winner of this year’s award at our San Francisco Green Festival on November 10 (oh and if you look at COA's site there's a way for you Americans to get totally treated at the green festival like mad, so snoop away!)

Dr. Currie gets all izzzpy with the CVTZzzy
izi
Soon to be everybody's favorite electric assist bike. Izip is the new Wavecrest (and they're both black!) I ve been looking at these izip bikes for a few weeks now, and as much as steve jobs may hate it, there may be a new hot iproduct out there on the ihorizon.... Dr. Malcolm Currie's Curry tech has been re-branded, has some hot new bikes, and apparently the hybrid bike world's first CVT (continuously variable) Transmission. Not bad, certain to ensure a smooth ride. and Dr. Mal knows a thing or two about smooth rides... before he was a green transportation maven this 2 wheel enthusiast was CEO of a little thing called Hughes Aircraft Company (neat when you think of it, Wavecrest is all military guys too--- what do they know about electro drive transportation that we don't??)
