silver linings abound ...tho now that "Ian" is gone, what eco wonders will Jay and Natasha bring to us each day on the Daily Planet??
DaP
Ok it's rumour time. Someone has left Discovery Channel, and it will be quite noticeable in the very near future. He's not the star in front of the camera, happy to stare into your home from the box's inside, and yet, if you are like the millions of people world-wide who tune into Discovery's Daily Planet, and regaled at the almost regular good eco-news, then you do know his work! And now he's gone!

See this guy, let's call him "Ian," was the guy behind the scenes. Producing, shooting, writing, and interviewing for the show DailyPlanet. Yes, there were a few producers there, but Ian was special. he was the one who would fight daily to get environmentally themed stories into the show, and constantly pitching, from what I heard, 10 for every 1 green story that would make it on the air. (sure you think of Discovery as environmental, but its not, its a science & technology channel that isn't always so green).

"Ian" will obviously be missed by the Daily Planet people. And even more so from his fans around the globe ((from what I heard he will still be dropping by on occasion to fill us in on green ideas... so there are some mercies..)) The other bright spot is that he has just started his own production company and I hear he's got some amazing stories to share, and a feature documentary already in pre-production! It won't be long till we see what this guy can make in 2 hours as opposed to 5 minutes....

But speaking about hours of fun, here's one... you don't have to take my word for just how great this "Ian" was, you can see it yourself. See, Daily Planet is available in snippet-form online... So allow me to let you see some of the best of this so called "Ian" (ian@crypticmoth.com) has to offer... And, without further ado;
